ACCIDENT INVESTIGATORS/LEGAL SUPPORT EXECUTIVES – All areas of the UK

We are continually looking for experienced accident investigators/personal injury specialists who may be interested in joining our field force.

These are home based roles and involve visiting clients and witnesses in their homes or place of work to procure witness statements for use in personal injury court actions; also visiting accident locations to prepare locus reports suitable for use at trial.

This role is ideally suited to persons with experience of personal injury litigation such as fee earners/legal executives/solicitors; insurance company claims inspectors; accredited claims investigators. These are usually full time positions, but we would also be interested to hear from suitably qualified people interested in part time work.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Visiting the victims of road traffic, workplace and tripping/slipping accidents. Procuring statements of evidence covering the circumstances of the incident and detailed evidence concerning injury and loss. Visiting accident sites and preparing detailed plans and photographic evidence. Writing reports for submission to solicitor clients. Undertaking searches and traces.

Skills Required/Key Competencies:
Excellent knowledge and experience of handling personal injury claims, including severe/complex injury cases. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision. Ability to deliver accurate and detailed reports and statements, occasionally within tight deadlines. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Computer literacy is essential. You will be using your own car to visit clients and witnesses in their homes or place of work, as well as attending accident locations. A current full driving licence is, therefore, essential for this role.
