Sacha Effendi

Clerical Assistant

A graduate of Lancaster University and having formerly worked in a York law practice, Sacha joined Ebor in July 2011. Sacha has exceptional organisation and communication skills and provides valuable support and assistance to the Administrators and deals with day to day enquires.

Helen Cheyne

Administrator/Proof Reader

A former practising solicitor, having achieved her Bachelor of Law at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1997, Helen has brought with her a wealth of legal experience. Her role is primarily concerned with proof reading statements of evidence to ensure the highest standards of presentation and content.

James Best

Clerical Assistant

The youngest member of our team, James joined Ebor in May 2011 and plays an important role in ensuring an efficient and timely turnaround of instructions. He also provides support and assistance to the Administrators and undertakes general administration duties.

Kirsty Thornton

Clerical Assistant

One of our most recent recruits, Kirsty joined Ebor in October 2011 and provides support and assistance to the Administrators and handles general office administration duties and day to day enquires.

Jo Hull

Office Manager

Joined Ebor in October 2009 from a York law practice where she worked as a personal injury Legal Assistant. Jo has considerable knowledge of the procedures involved in personal injury litigation and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that quality control standards are maintained. She is also responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day management of operations in the office.

Rosie Boardman

Accounts/Office Clerk

A Finance & Accounting graduate (First Class) of Salford University, Rosie joined Ebor in July 2011 and assists the Directors with daily finance matters and general administration duties.

Joanne Whincup

Senior Administrator

Joined Ebor in July 2011 and was formerly employed by Zurich Commercial. Joanne has previous experience in both personal injury claims handling and account management and together with her mature and professional approach, she is proving to be an extremely valuable member of the team.

Martha Stoneham

Clerical Assistant

A graduate (First Class) of Canterbury Christchurch and York Universities, Martha joined Ebor in June 2011 and utilises her exceptional organisation and communication skills to great advantage, providing support and assistance to the Senior Administrator.

Chris Cheetham (LLB Hons)

Administrator/Proof Reader

Chris joined Ebor in August 2010 from a Claimant law practice where he accumulated over 12 years of experience handling personal injury claims as a fee earner. Chris applies his extensive knowledge and skills to the proof reading process, thereby ensuring consistent quality and content of witness statements.

Judith Hull

Administrator/Proof Reader

Judith joined Ebor in May 2011 and is a former Legal Assistant. Judi has in excess of 10 years’ experience gained within a Claimant law practice and uses this to good effect by ensuring that Ebor achieves the highest standards in the preparation of witness statements.

We currently employ over 20 full time administrative staff at our York Office and Legal Support Executives and Associates in key geographical areas. We also engage the services of well over a hundred experienced field representatives strategically located throughout the UK. Most of our staff are legally trained or qualified and all of them are industry trained to very high standards and fully understand the needs and expectations of our clients.

We are continually developing our UK network but at the same time we have been careful to employ only those people with relevant experience, thereby ensuring that our products are truly fit for purpose.

Lisa Snowden

With over 10 years experience gained in the accounts departments of national companies, Lisa joined the team at Ebor Claims Services in January 2012 to head up the finance team, reporting directly to the Directors. Her previous employers include Austin Reed Group and Dennison Till, Solicitors, where she dealt with a full range of accounting matters.

Gareth Woodhead

Gareth is formerly an Associate Director at Irwin Mitchell, Solicitors and joined Ebor in February 2010 as a senior member of the team. He has a wealth of experience gained within a Claimant personal injury environment and is conversant with all aspects of the personal injury claims process. Gareth attends upon Claimant`s and witnesses to procure statements of evidence and also prepares accident scene reports. His main area of operation is in the Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Cheshire regions.

Ruth Griffin

Joined Ebor in January 2011 and was formerly a Team Manager at one of the largest Claimant law firms in the UK. Ruth has over 20 years' experience of handling personal injury litigation and has specialised in motor vehicle and motor cycle claims. Ruth is based at our York office and supports our field force in Yorkshire and Humberside.

Michael Griffin

A Legal Executive, having achieved his ILEX qualification in 2005, Michael joined Ebor in August 2011 from Irwin Mitchell, Solicitors. Michael possesses a wealth of experience and technical knowledge of personal injury claims, having worked for many years as a senior fee earner and now supports our field force in Birmingham and The Midlands.

Kevin Harris

Kevin joined the payroll at Ebor in April 2011 having proven himself during his time working as an agent of the company. An accredited Accident Investigator, Kevin also served as a police officer for 14 years and is now a valuable full time member of our field force. He is based in Hertfordshire and operates in London and the Home Counties.

Peter Griffiths

Another recent recruit, Peter joined Ebor in October 2011. Formerly a fee earner at Morgan Cole, Solicitors and MTA Solicitors, he is a strong technician and has over 10 years’ experience of handling personal injury claims. Peter has particular expertise with regards to credit hire claims and supports our field force in London and the Home Counties.

John Cooper

Formerly an agent of the company, John joined our field staff in November 2011. John has many years of experience spent in the financial and legal sectors and is an accredited personal injury investigator. Based in Essex, his role is to procure witness statements and prepare accident scene reports in the South-East and London.

Stewart Woodward

Stewart joined Ebor in March 2011 and has experience of working in both legal practice and loss adjusting. Stewart has an excellent technical knowledge of personal injury claims and supports our field force in Merseyside and the North West.

Simon James

  • Legal Support Executive

Simon joined the Company payroll in January 2012 following a spell working with us as an agent. He has formerly worked within a Claimant legal practice and as a personal injury fee earner and will further strengthen our field staff in the Midlands area.

Neil Coleman

  • Associate

A qualified solicitor, Neil is extremely knowledgeable in the area of personal injury litigation. He has been prosecuting and defending personal injury claims in high profile law firms for some 20 years and began working with Ebor in 2007. Neil is a true professional and a valued associate - he supports our field force in Birmingham and the East Midlands.

John Jackson

  • Associate

Formerly a Senior Litigation Executive at two long-established and respected Claimant law firms, John has worked in the personal injury claims market for over 22 years. During his career, John has been involved in high profile personal injury litigation cases and has accumulated a vast amount of experience. John has been a valued associate of Ebor and member of our field force since 2008 and his area of operation predominantly East Anglia and the South Midlands.

John Ruston

  • Associate

John qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and possesses a wealth of experience in the handling of personal injury claims. John has been an associate of Ebor and a member of our field force since May 2009 and operates predominantly in the North East.
